The four-day Bangladesh Single Country Trade Show was inaugurated in Tokyo on Monday.
The Japan External Trade Organisation and the Export Promotion Bureau, Bangladesh have organised the trade show with the support of the Bangladesh embassy in Tokyo, said a press release.
Osamu Uno, vice-minister for foreign affairs of Japan and member of the House of Represen-tatives, inaugurated the show,
Twenty-nine Bangladeshi and five Japanese companies are participating in the exhibition. The products put on display by the participating companies are leather products, ceramic tableware, home textile, jute goods, RMG (both woven and knit) and Handicrafts.
