Weight loss can be caused by both physical as well as psychological dysfunctions. Some of the habits such as reduced chewing & swallowing ability, coughing & even drooling interfere with the normal intake of the food. All these symptoms together can first lead to loss of fat & then to loss of mass of the lean muscle, which usually the body cannot replace. You can prevent this by having good amount as well as regular intake of food, that is, not to skip any lunch or dinner or snack etc. Good & proper amount of calories will also help you. So now you know how to prevent weight loss, just keep exercising, have good food, & that all you have to do!
